Pledge (Vow) Renewals

Say¬†“Aye Still Do!” with Celebrant Lindy

There’s a quote that says… “A successful marriage requires falling in love over and over again with the same person.”

And what better way to celebrate this love than by choosing to renew your wedding vows.

Vow Renewal Ceremonies are becoming more and more popular, and there are many different reasons why a couple would choose to renew their vows. From just having the desire to reaffirm their love for each other in front of family & friends, to marking a particular milestone, perhaps a 5, 10, 15 or 25 year anniversary. Or perhaps a couple have come through a major life challenge, and they view their Vow Renewal as the next step in a more positive chapter of their life together. Or even when one of them has come through an illness and see this a way of celebrating. But whatever your reasons for renewing your Vows, you can be sure of a joyous, heartfelt and personal Ceremony.

Vow Renewal Ceremonies do not have any legal elements to them so there is no lengthy paperwork or registration fees, it’s simply a case of having a wonderful celebration, and you can include all the lovely elements that you find in wedding ceremonies such as readings, poems and ring (or gift) exchanges. You can also include a beautiful ritual such as a Handfasting or Unity Candle. There are no rules when it comes to what you can/ cannot include in your special day, and once we’ve met and had a chat I will be able to suggest some elements that I think might work well for you.

So, if you are considering saying “Aye Still Do!”, please contact me here and we can chat further.
