Most Handfastings you see at ceremonies are performed by the Minister/Celebrant who is conducting the ceremony.
However, after Covid hit, and Celebrants were banned from being involved in the Handfasting, I began showing couples how they could do their own, and now it’s my favourite thing! It’s so special and intimate for the couple to do the Handfast themselves.
